Monkey Tea is a famous legendary tea orginating in China. An old legend states that there were wild tea bushes growing on high steep cliffs that people could not reach. Tea producers trained monkeys to climb the cliffs to pluck the leaves and successfully processed and extraordinarily fine tea. Thus, this tea was named Monkey Tea.

Green tea is made from the leaves from Camellia sinensis that have undergone minor oxidation during processing. Green tea originated in China, but it has become associated with many cultures throughout Asia.
